My name is Mette Ilene Holmriis graduated in 2009 from The Animation Workshop in Denmark.
From 2010 till 2019 I was living and working from Berlin. The latest years being part of an artist collective. In 2019 I moved to Copenhagen, Denmark from where I am working freelance.
Experienced Director, skilled in Character Animation, Head of Design, and Art Direction.
My passion lies within Animation as a medium for storytelling for people of all ages. I enjoy all aspects of my job, ranging from creative decision-making to supervising teams helping directors and production get their vision to the big screen and lastly being part of production breathing life into characters and backgrounds.
My years in the industry have allowed me to gain experience with many different types of projects, teams, pipelines, and visual styles.
